Terms of Service - Museum Donation Portal

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Museum Donation Portal service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Museum Donation Portal provides software-as-a-service for managing gifts-in-kind donations. The Service includes:

Online donation submission forms
Administrative dashboard for reviewing donations
Email notifications
Donor tracking capabilities

3. Account Registration

Museums must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

The Service is offered on a subscription basis at $25 USD per month. Payment is processed through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. A 7-day free trial is offered for new accounts.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

6. Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

Use the Service to store or transmit illegal content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

7. Data Ownership and Privacy

You retain all rights to data you submit through the Service. We claim no ownership over your content. Data is logically separated by museum account. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal information.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vasari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vasari from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or other reasons at our discretion. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and data.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Vasari operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
